Nakládání s výzkumnými daty

Nakládání s daty vznikajícími v Centrální laboratoři rostlinného výzkumu se řídí opatřením ředitele CEITECu MU č. 4/2020: Politika nakládání s výzkumnými daty, jenž nastavuje základní definice, pravidla, odpovědnosti a podmínky vlastnictví a správy dat na CEITECu MU, a dále dokumentem Plant Sciences Core Facility Data Management (EN verze níže). Všichni uživatelé laboratoře (zaměstnanci MU, externí, komerční i jiní) jsou povinni se těmito dokumenty řídit a dále zmínit sdílenou laboratoř ve všech publikovaných výsledcích vytvořených na základě dat získaných ve sdílené laboratoři (viz Poděkování).

1. Data accessibility

Plant CF computers are connected to the Masaryk University network allowing connection to local servers by standard network communication protocols. Plant CF does not take a responsibility for data stored on local PCs.

2. Data storage

Data on local PCs are not stored for a long-term and can be removed at any time without notification. It is strongly recommended to save data directly to the server or move data from local PCs to server location immediately after acquisition. Plant CF does not provide a solution for long-term data storage but can provide storage space for a short-term period on local server. The standard quota is 0.2TB for the period of 180 days per user. After this period data can be deleted without notification. 

3. Preferred way of data transfer to users

SMB or other network communication protocols. Using USB flashdisks or other external devices are not recommended for data transfer.

4. Destruction of old data

Data are removed after 180 days. Users can ask for prolongation. Based on free capacity, Plant CF can extend the time period for data storage.

5. Data security

Windows server. Each user will be provided with his/her own login and password when generating data without Plant CF asistence.
